Did you know that last year county residents recycled almost 1.7 million pounds of material that was returned to producers to make new products! Kudos!

Did you know that recycling one ton of cardboard saves 682.5 gallons of oil, 7,000 gallons of water, and 3.3 cubic yards of landfill space? Every ton of recycled cardboard also saves about 17 trees. It requires 64% less energy than making new cardboard from virgin wood pulp.
