Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events

Household hazardous materials are weighed when received and a $1.10 per pound is charged for all items, including batteries and light bulbs. Please Note: There is a 5 lb. minimum charge ($5.50). The fee goes up in 5 lb. increments. You must call for an appointment. You may call up to two weeks prior to each event. Please call: 906-635-5681 and press 0 for operator. We accept: oils, fuels, fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, paints, household cleaners, various acids and bases, corrosives, pool chemicals, bleach, deck cleaner, descalers, degreasers, drain cleaner, tar, etc.

All events are held on Saturdays unless otherwise noted.
  • May 23, 2026 from 9AM until last scheduled appointment.
  • July 18, 2026 from 9AM until last scheduled appointment.
  • September 19, 2026 from 9AM until last scheduled appointment.
FOR SALE - $15 Our raised planters make growing your favorite vegetables, herbs and flowers easy! When fall arrives, fill your planter with sand, or a sand/salt mixture, to keep you walkway or stairs safe this winter. Just ask us for a lid to keep dry.
