Please rinse and clean bottles, jars, cans & aluminum foil products
Please break down all corrugated cardboard boxes!
ITEMS WE ACCEPT
Glass Bottles & Jars- all colors
Aluminum & Steel - cans, aerosol cans, aluminum foil, scrap metal
Plastic Bottles # 1 & # 2 – (all colors ) rinse and clean bottles and throw away caps.
Corrugated Cardboard – (cardboard with wavey layers between flat layers) Cut and flatten all cardboard boxes. Pizza boxes must be clean. Remove all packaging materials from boxes. (No Styrofoam).
Box Board - cereal boxes, shoe boxes, tissue boxes etc.
Paper– office, household, carbonless, envelopes, etc. ( please keep shredded paper in bags)
Newspapers & Glossy Magazines – newspaper, magazines including gloss and semi-gloss advertising inserts and . phone books.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR RECYCLING
X Hypodermic Syringes (SHARPS) – needles, razor blades etc.
X Garbage – leftover leftovers, smelly stuff, stuff you don't want to touch again yourself
X Styrofoam of any shape or form – packing materials, food containers and any other Styrofoam
X Wax coated boxes or containers – milk cartons, drink boxes, even corrugated cardboard with wax coating
X Medical waste – biohazardous materials, dirty diapers, body fluids dry or otherwise
X Drugs – any medications, legal or illegal, outdated or current (return to pharmacy for disposal)
X Window glass
X Office wastebasket material – ever hand sorted through someone else's Kleenex?
X Dishes, or ceramic items
X PVC plastic – plastic pipe, some toys, some building materials, signs, credit cards
X Vinyl siding
THE FOLLOWING will be ACCEPTED ONLY DURING HAZARDOUS WASTE EVENTS
Household Hazardous Waste consists of household products that contain corrosive, toxic, ignitable , or reactive ingredients.
Fees will be charged at household hazardous waste collections.
